A Gallery of makers at work:

Room Layout: My classroom invites students to be excited about learning. Students sit in groups to encourage collaboration and community. My classroom is very student driven, so my desk and my position when I scribe the annotated guided notes is actually located in the back of the room.
Accessibility: Students have access to a variety of materials, and alternative seating when working in groups. I leave my room open to allow for students to come and go as they please. After school my room is often the hub for tutoring.
|
Student work: I like to showcase my student's creations in the classroom. They have a sense of pride knowing that what they created has a special place in the room.
